Who knew that One Direction paired so well with country music? Maren Morris is scheduled to go on tour with Niall Horan for his 2018 Flicker World Tour.

Horan made the announcement to fans via social media on Friday (Sept. 15), sharing info on a multi-date tour that launches in July and keeps him busy through September. Morris will join him for all 35 dates as they hit major markets including Nashville, Dallas, Chicago and Denver.

"I can't wait to get back on the road and play this album for you. And ... my good friend the incredible Maren Morris is joining me for all of it," Horan writes in the caption of the post.

Country Tours on the Road in 2017

The country trailblazer and former member of the boy band recently teamed up for a new song called “Seeing Blind," which they debuted at a Capitol Music Group showcase, according to VarietyMorris' new venture with Horan marks the second time a country star has partnered with a One Direction singer. Kacey Musgraves is poised to open for Horan's fellow 1D member Harry Styles on his solo tour next year. She'll only participate in the American dates for his international trek, which will make landfall in the U.S. throughout June and July. Styles is a self-proclaimed fan of the "Follow Your Arrow" singer.

Morris is no stranger to collaborations, having scored her first No. 1 single in 2017 as a duet partner on Thomas Rhett's "Craving You." She's expressed plans to marry fellow singer Ryan Hurd in the spring before her run with Horan kicks off.
