March Bandness Semi-Finals Include the Best of Four Decades

Taste of Country's March Bandness competition is down to the final four. Zac Brown Band, Charlie Daniels Band, Alabama and Diamond Rio remain -- only one of these bands will be declared as the greatest country band of all time. It's up to fans and ToC readers to decide who will move on to next week's finals in this bracket style competition. 

Diamond Rio won by the narrowest margin of victory amongst the remaining bands, but their win over Sugarland was never really in doubt. For every swell of opponent votes, the group's fans answered back. Alabama battled Lonestar, but in the end, Randy Owen and company cruised to an easy win. Zac Brown Band crushed the Band Perry in Round 2, and Charlie Daniels Band went back and forth with Lady Antebellum, but eventually pulled ahead to take the round.

Hitmakers from the '70s, '80s, '90s and '00s are all represented in this Final Four. You can vote for each matchup once every hour until the poll closes on March 31 at 11:59PM ET. The finals begin next Monday (April 1), with the ultimate winner being revealed on April 8.
