Enraged Man Beats Woman in Wheelchair for Eating Last Piece of Chicken
Some people have no clue how to treat the handicapped.
Police in Pacolet, South Carolina arrested 44-year-old Clifford Smith last weekend because he attacked a wheelchair-bound woman after she ate the last piece of chicken during dinner.
Smith and some other people were chowing down, along with the woman, when she helped herself to the last piece of chicken. That didn’t sit well with Smith, who said he wanted it. A police report says he did what any sane person would never do – he hit the woman, threw a bottle of beer against a wall and then choked her.
When the woman dialed 911, Smith took the phone and destroyed it.
Eventually, police were summoned and hauled Smith away. He was charged with assault and vandalism.
It’s unclear how Smith and the woman knew each other.
