Maggie Rose has been on the Nashville scene for years, but she may be poised to become one of country's breakthrough stars with her new single, "Body on Fire."

There's no denying Rose's voice is pure, but it's powerful — comparisons to a young Faith Hill aren't off base. Her strength and control is obvious within the first few notes. "Body on Fire" is a perfect blend of all the inviting qualities one's ear craves: a bubbly melody, catchy lyrics and a memorable vocal delivery from the singer.

That's not to say the track is squeaky clean, though, as Rose brings a heavy dose of sensuality to the table as she sings: "Champagne rush straight to my head / Got me love drunk, laying in my bed / You don't even need to try / You just set my body on fire."

When listening to her past releases, Rose has a strong sense of soul and passion that's carried throughout her catalog, and that rings true on "Body on Fire." Her voice makes her a standout in a pool of rising talent, and now she just needs a song that pushes her over the edge. "Body on Fire" is the answer she's looking for.

Did You Know?: Rose sang lead vocals on two songs featured in the Disney Channel series, Shake It Up.

Maggie Rose's "Body on Fire" Lyrics:

I miss you, I need you, I want you to touch me / We don't have to speak, let our bodies do the talking / Never get enough, never get enough / So bring me all your love, hurry it up / Whatever you want, you got my permission.

Chorus:

Tonight we can do anything / We can be everything we want to be / And I, I want to feel your lips / And give you all that you've been missing / Champagne rush straight to my head / Got me love drunk, laying in my bed / You don't even need to try / You just set my body on fire / You just set my body on fire.

I'm reckless, only you make me do this / No we can't stop it and I don't want to stop, baby / Never get enough, never get enough / So bring me all your love, hurry it up / I want to give you, give you my attention.

Never get enough, never get enough / So bring me all your love, hurry it up / I want to give you, give you my attention.
