Madonna Nash Writes the Song ‘Don’t Leave’ to Honor Military Wives

Singer/songwriter Madonna Nash was inspired to write the song ‘Don’t Leave’ by a friend who is a military wife. All the wife was asking for, was a little more time with the man she so dearly loves. The song struck a nerve with me because I remember when I was a kid, mom saying the very same thing to my dad before he was deployed to Vietnam. It’s the very same thing I envision many military spouses doing all over West Texas, being that we are a big Military town. One last thing, as I watched the video I not only felt her pain but her loneliness as well. Check it out.
Madonna Nash is not a newcomer to country music, she’s been nominated and won several music awards like, Female Country Artist of the Year at the 2010 at the Carolina Music Awards, Best Country Album at the 2012 Independent Music Awards. She has performed with and/or opened for numerous country artists such as, Gretchen Wilson, Phil Vassar, Colt Ford, Gloriana, Tracy Lawrence, Lee Brice, and many more. Plus Nash has been featured on GAC, TNN, CMT and TCN as well. On stage Madonna Nash puts on a very high energy show mixed with a little pop and rock.
Madonna Nash, and yes “Madonna” is her real name she is also the voice and co-creator of “Preschool Popstars”, a new animated children’s music project. Now turn up the speakers kick back and check this video out.
