Ask and you shall receive, right? A Luke Combs fan who pushed for an acoustic album from the singer via Twitter got a favorable response from the New Artist of the Year winner.

In response to a video of Combs performing an acoustic cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" alone on guitar, a fan named Caleb Bailes begged for an acoustic album.

"Hear me out here ... a full acoustic album by @lukecombs," Bailes writes.

Combs' response? "I'm in..."

Combs wouldn't be the only country artist to follow through on an acoustic album at the request of his fans. Earlier this month, Kip Moore released Room to Spare: The Acoustic Sessions EP. The seven-song project makes good on a promise the "Last Shot" singer made to deliver an acoustic collection to his diehards.

But this is nothing new for Combs, a rising star who frequently appeals to his fans' requests. Earlier this year, he released This One's for You Too, the deluxe edition of his debut album, as a way to give them more music in between major projects. The release included five new tracks on an existing album — like fan favorites "She Got the Best of Me" and "Beautiful Crazy" — both of which were later released as singles.

The singer recently celebrated his fourth consecutive No. 1 hit with the four-week chart topper, "She Got the Best of Me." He wrote the song with Rob Snyder and Channing Wilson. Combs tells Taste of Country that music has always been his focus.

"There was never a plan B. I don't think that's a smart thing, but I think anybody that kind of gets to to this point, there really isn't a plan B," he shares. "To me, a plan B is like 'well maybe it's not going to work,' and for me that just wasn't an option."

Combs has a busy 2019 ahead of him, as he will begin headlining arenas on the 2019 Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour that launches on Jan. 31 in Birmingham, Ala.
