The competition in the Artist of the Year category at the 2013 American Country Awards (Dec.10) was tough, populated by the likes of Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton and more.

But it was the on-a-hot-streak Luke Bryan who prevailed, winning the award.

Upon accepting his award, Bryan joked that he was blinded by Florida Georgia Line's firework-fueled performance, which had taken place just moments before.

"I want everyone to know, from the bottom of our hearts, me and my family and everyone on the road, we're having so much fun bringing our show to your towns, playing for the most honest, hardworking people, good country fans and good Americans," he said in a heartfelt speech, nodding to how important the fans are.

He closed out the speech by thanking his sons.

Luke Bryan's career remains red-hot. Like we've said before, he'd better call a contractor to add a wing onto his house to store and display all of these awards, because he is picking them up with incredibly frequency.

Bryan also won Male Artist of the Year and Touring Artist of the Year at the 2013 ACAs.
