Soulful country vocalist Kree Harrison survived again on 'American Idol' Thursday night (May 9), after a sensational run on the show's twelfth season highlighted by a long string of stellar performances. She will move on to the show's finale next week, where she will compete against Candice Glover to see which one will be crowned the winner this year.

Fresh from a triumphant hometown visit earlier this week, Harrison delivered one of the standout performances of a season filled with strong performances from her on Wednesday night (May 8), singing 'Here Comes Goodbye' by Rascal Flatts in an emotional rendition that earned an outpouring of praise from the judges.

Along with her other two songs Wednesday, it was enough to send her to the finale, while Angie Miller was eliminated Thursday night. Harrison looked visibly shocked at hearing she would move on, and she and Glover were both in tears as Miller sang her farewell song, alternately laughing and crying.

Harrison and Glover will compete for the final time on next Wednesday's show.
