Kratos is Getting His Own PS3 Controller

Sony Japan revealed a new DualShock 3 controller would release next year to tie into God of War: Ascension.

Kotaku discovered the news, and stated the golden-hued controller would arrive on March 14th in Japan. There is no mention of a possible release date in North America as of yet, but considering just how popular the God of War franchise is here in the U.S., it wouldn't be surprising to learn Sony has plans for all of us as well.

The controller is definitely more impressive looking that similarly themed controllers for games like MLB: The Show or Metal Gear Solid. At least the Uncharted themed DualShock 3 had a bit of originality, but even that controller failed to impress as much as this new one.
