I ran across the cutest photos the other day and then read the story and it made them just that much sweeter. The photos are of a kitten who had been attacked by a crow and was injured so badly it needed a feeding tube. That proved to be a challenge so it's caretaker found someone to crochet an outfit that they could put the kitten in that kept it from wriggling all over the place. This all happened in Japan and the crocheted outfits weren't just functional but also super cute. The kittens name is Wasabi Chan and it's costumes include a mushroom, a celery stalk and more.

Wasabi Chan had been attacked by a crow which left the kitten with a fractured top jaw along with a hole in her throat, her tongue ripped and part of the gum eaten. The feeding tube was needed to keep her alive but she didn't like it and would try to pull it out so they had costumes crocheted that would keep her from moving around and left her unable to pull the tube out with her feet. Think 'swaddling' for a baby, it keeps them calm and makes them feel safe; that's kind of the same concept here.

I'm glad to say that Wasabi Chan is recovered and is able to eat on her own and is now safe at home with her rescuer's family.

Check out some of the adorable photos of Wasabi Chan here:

Wasabi Chan has even made new animal friends one of which is a parakeet. You would think a  bird would be the last friend she would want.
