Most folks will remember actor/comedian Kevin Nealon for his years of comic excellence on Saturday Night Live, or his ongoing role as Doug Wilson in 'Weeds' or his many other TV and movie appearances. But my all-time favorite Kevin Nealon role is Gary Potter - the calm, friendly golf pro - in 'Happy Gilmore'.

Kevin plays a calm, cerebral golfer who attempts to help Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) by suggesting relaxation techniques to help deal with the pressure of playing on the pro golf tour. Nealon is hilarious as he counters the wild, slapstick comedy of the film with a more calm, dry humor. Here's the scene where Potter introduces himself to Gilmore:

Epic. But the most quotable Kevin Nealon line ever comes later in the film, where Potter offers commentary as Happy celebrates an incredible golf shot with "the bull dance". I wish I had a dime for every time his line, "Doing the bull dance. Feeling the flow. Working it. Working it." has been repeated on golf courses since. Check it out:

Nealon's role in 'Happy Gilmore' isn't the biggest. He's only in a few scenes. But he is perfect in the way he compliments the film. In a film that's loaded with insane, off-the-wall nonsense, Gary Potter provided the dry, straight-forward humor that the movie needed.

Don't miss your chance to see Kevin Nealon's live stand up act. We've got a chance to win tickets to see him live at Horseshoe Bay, complete with an overnight stay at the resort. Enter to win now. And if you win, you can do the bull dance!
