Kevin Fowler loves Texas, and he made it clear last year when he did public service announcements for the Texas Commission on Environmental Equality (TCEQ) and Texas Parks and Wildlife. Now, Fowler has returned with a new PSA, where he is literally singing for trash.

The 30-second PSA features Kevin and his band set up in a park. There's a red, white and blue barrel in front of them that says "Will Sing For Trash", and "Don't Mess With Texas" underneath it. Every time someone approaches the barrel and throws trash in it, Fowler belts out a quick snippet of his "Don't Mess With Texas" song. Check it out here:

I love it. I think it's really cool that a star Texas country singer is putting his name and reputation behind such a noble cause, time after time like Kevin does. Here's hoping it works, and more people will remember to find trash receptacles with their garbage.

Fowler will be providing the music at the 3rd annual Women's Night Out on June 10th at the Abilene Civic Center.
