Kenny Chesney not only brought his signature good vibes to Good Morning America on Friday morning, he also brought a new album title.

Though Chesney was set to release his new record on July 8, the album — originally titled Some Town Somewhere — has been pushed back to October to make room for a collaboration with pop singer Pink. In light of the new song, Chesney said he has decided to rename the entire album.

“The new music … feels like a cosmic hallelujah, that’s the word that came out, so that’s actually gonna be the title of the new album,” he reveals for the first time.

Chesney then performed "Noise," the first single from Some Town — ahem — Cosmic Hallelujah, a self-reflective tune still true to his beachy, feel-good vibe, with his trademark laid-back enthusiasm, enjoying performing in such an iconic location.

“If there’s one thing that seems like summer – as much as our hitting the road, getting out there to the No Shoes Nation — it’s being a part of Good Morning America’s concert series in Central Park,” he remarked. “Taking the music outside is what it’s all about – and there is something about the Park that just feels like everything the music I’ve been making is all about.”

The artist also brought two tunes from his 2014 record The Big Revival, “American Kids” and “Save It for a Rainy Day” to the stage.

With his new collaboration with Pink, Chesney is joining a slew of other genre-blurring country stars like Brad Paisley, who features songs with Mick Jagger and Demi Lovato on his new record, and Keith Urban, who has in the past teamed up with hip-hop artist Pitbull.

The president of No Shoes Nation is currently on his Spread the Love stadium tour.
