Kelly Clarkson has long been a TV fixture, from her successful stint on American Idol to her current run as a judge on The Voice; in fact, television seems to agree with the powerhouse singer. Not only did Clarkson win the very first season of Idol in 2002, but 16 years later, her The Voice contestant, Brynn Cartelli, won that TV singing competition's Season 14, Clarkson's very first season as a judge. Next, however, Clarkson is working on a different kind of television show.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Clarkson's very own daytime TV talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, will debut as a syndicated series on 11 NBC stations in the U.S. in the fall of 2019. The show will replace Steve, Steve Harvey's talk show, and air before Ellen DeGeneres' EllenTHR describes the show as a "weekday brunch party [featuring] celebrity guests, surprises, humor, heart, music and remarkable stories."

"I love connecting with people, playing games, music and finding ways to help or give back to communities / organizations,” Clarkson says. “Having my own talk show where I get to do all of these things is pretty much a dream job!”

The Kelly Clarkson Show, an hour-long show based out of Los Angeles, will be executive produced by Clarkson and her husband, Brandon Blackstock. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news of the show -- specifically, that Clarkson was filming a pilot episode -- in early August.

In July, it was announced that Clarkson is for sure headed to the (animated) silver screen. According to Variety, the singer will star in the upcoming animated film UglyDolls, produced by STXfilms. Clarkson will voice an appropriately named character called Moxy in the film, and will perform original songs. In addition to Clarkson, UglyDolls has also secured fellow artist Pitbull to appear in the film, which is set for release sometime in 2019.

More information about Clarkson can be found on her official website.
