When you sing in a way that almost makes Keith Urban cry, you know you're good. Country hopeful Kree Harrison, a strong contestant on this year's 'American Idol,' has continued to wow the judges in such a way that the New Zealand-born star thinks Harrison could become America's next 'idol.'

Urban tells Wetpaint that the 22-year-old Harrison is 'definitely a contender." She certainly wowed the judges with her rendition of Patty Griffin's 'Up On the Mountain,' as even Urban was fighting back tears due to her powerful performance. He says, “Certainly, Kree is an extraordinarily gifted singer in an unusual way ‘cause she’s just so effortless in the way she sings."

The Texas-born beauty has clearly made an impact on Urban, as he adds, “There’s nothing theatrical and large about her as a performer. There’s just this incredibly authentic voice -- in the same way that Adele has that incredibly authentic voice -- and I just believe her when she sings."

It's a high honor for Harrison to be compared to the Grammy-crowned Adele, and perhaps is a foreshadowing of what's to come for this young singer. We'll find out by the end of the season, and if he's right, maybe Urban should pick up another career in fortune telling!
