Kacey Musgraves takes us inside her wondrous trip to Japan with a performance of "Love is a Wild Thing" in Tokyo.

The singer traveled to Japan in May of 2018 for a CD signing at Tokyo's Tower Records and took some time while in the city to perform for fans. Endearing as always, Musgraves treated the crowd to a thoughtful cut off her album Golden Hour, "Love is a Wild Thing."

With a vibrant set of beautiful artificial cherry blossom trees, pink oriental umbrellas and paper lanterns decorating the background, Musgraves charmed the audience with her country soul, letting her voice soar.

The singer provided some of her musical magic, promising the fans that gathered that true love will find them: "Running like a river / Trying to find the ocean / Flowers in the concrete / Climbing over fences / Blooming in the shadows / Places that you can't see / Coming through the melody when the night bird sings / Love is a wild thing."

Softly strumming her acoustic guitar, Musgraves brings a hush over the crowd with her mystical presentation.

The country star has experienced an eventful 2018 with the release of her critically acclaimed Golden Hour. She recently wrapped an opening gig on Harry Styles' 2018 Live on Tour and will head across the pond in October for the European leg of her Oh, What a World Tour.

She's set to bring the tour to North America in early 2019, including a three-night stay at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium Feb. 28 - March 2. She's also set to perform at the famous Farm Aid event on Sept. 22 led by founders Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews.
