The new trailer for 'Jupiter Ascending,' the upcoming movie directed by the Wachowski siblings has it all: swarms of bees, 'Gundam'-like mechs, energy shields vs. plasma weapons, Sean Bean in a supporting role and Mila Kunis cleaning toilets. What more can you ask for?

If you want to forget that 'Speed Racer' ever happened, it looks like that might be a bit easier now, because 'Jupiter Ascending' offers proof (at least two and a half minutes of it) that Lana and Andy Wachowski are returning to the awe-inspiring sci-fi epics that made them stars after 'The Matrix.'

'Jupiter Ascending' tells the story of Jupiter Jones (played by Kunis), whose birth coincided with astrological signs that indicate that her future was going to be something great. Unfortunately, she ended up being a house cleaner for the grimiest of sleazeballs.

Genetically altered, ex-military bounty hunter Caine (Channing Tatum) comes to Earth from across the galaxy to track down Jupiter with a Kyle Reese-style "I've got to protect you, but I think I love you" attitude. It turns out that Jupiter's genetic code designates her for an immense gift that could change the fate of a totalitarian universe where the Earth is simply a small cog in the plans of greater evil.

And while we're not certain on this, it looks like Bean -- in a supporting role as someone who helps Caine and Jupiter -- may once again meet a grisly fate (keeping with his near-perfect track record, pre- and post-'Game of Thrones'). 'Jupiter Ascending,' which opens on July 18, looks like it will include a cool mix of cyberpunk, sci-fi, fantasy, space travel, Tatum whup-ass and futuristic weaponry. Can we call this the Wachowski's big comeback yet?
