Jordan Rager has released his debut single, "Southern Boy," featuring guest vocals from Jason Aldean.

The country-rock track follows a theme that's familiar territory for Aldean: It's all about what it means to live in the South, from the truck bed to the church pew.

“Southern boy, in your pickup truck / Seasons change, dashboard stays covered in red clay dust," Rager sings, before Aldean joins in with the next lines: "Southern boy, you never been scared to fight / Your family name, there’s a lot of things you just don’t compromise / Keep singing them songs / Keep carrying on, yeah."

The country newcomer and the country superstar tackle the song's chorus together: "Keep stealing those kisses from your southern belle / Keep loving those Friday nights / Keep rolling with your buddies, raising a little hell / Just don’t cross the line / We all know there ain’t nothing like the feeling / The way you grew up, Sunday kneeling / Like glasspacks popping, you keep making that noise / Southern boy.”

"Southern Boy" is set to appear on Georgia native Rager's upcoming debut album; the project will be released on Broken Bow Records, which is also Aldean's label home. Meanwhile, the song is available for download via iTunes and Amazon.
