John Prine has released a new music video, for his song "Knockin' on Your Screen Door," featuring a collection of some of country and Americana music's biggest names. Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Margo Price and the Black Keys member Dan Auerbach, among others, all appear in the feel-good footage; readers can press play above to watch.

In "Knockin' on Your Screen Door," Prine's trademark lyrics tell a rustic, bittersweet summertime tale: "I can see your back porch / If I close my eyes now / I can hear the train tracks / Through the laundry on the line," Prine sings. "I'm thinking it's your business / But you don't got to answer / I'm knocking on your screen door / In the summertime."

David McClister directed Prine's "Knockin' on Your Screen Door" video. Viewers will also catch glimpses of big names such as Dave Cobb (who also produced Prine's newest album), Elizabeth CookAmanda Shires and others as they join Prine on the song. Prine and company filmed the clip through Nashville, at some of his favorite haunts: Ernest Tubb Record Shop and the Station Inn are both featured, as are a few other locations.

"Knockin' on Your Screen Door" is from Prine's latest album, The Tree of Forgivenesswhich he released on April 13. It's Prine's first new music in 13 years, and the disc includes duets with many of the biggest names in American music today. The record debuted on the all-genre Billboard 200 at No. 5.

Prine is currently on tour across the U.S. He will head overseas to Europe later this summer.
