Pop-turned-country singer Jewel is celebrating her nearly 20-year career in music with the release her first-ever 'Greatest Hits' package, available next week. The superstar offers the first preview of the new collection with a fresh version of her 1997 classic 'Foolish Games,' which has been revamped as a devastatingly beautiful duet with Kelly Clarkson.

“I just wanted to do some duets with some artists I really liked and some voices I like,” Jewel says of her special guest vocalists. “Kelly was amazing. She was a hoot to have in the studio. She had done ‘Foolish Games’ in several talent shows prior to ‘American Idol,’ so she really knew it."

She adds, "I’m such a fan of her voice and love what she added to the song. She was so effortless on it. It’s neat to hear it in her new light.”

Flawless vocals from both Jewel and Clarkson certainly elevate the Grammy-nominated song to new heights. Written solely by Jewel herself, 'Foolish Games' was first released as a single from the singer's 1995 debut disc 'Pieces of You,' and instantly earned her the distinction as a premier vocalist and lyricist of the generation. The track helped propel its accompanying album to sell 12 million copies in the United States alone.

Jewel's 'Greatest Hits' package, which will be released on Feb. 5, also features a collaboration from the 'Hell on Heels' trio Pistol Annies. The 16-track collection will even offer one new track in 'Two Hearts Breaking.'
