Shortly after announcing his new album, Rearview Town, Jason Aldean began teasing the news that the record would feature a collaboration with a woman. As it turns out, his singing partner is none other than Miranda Lambert.

Aldean and Lambert teamed up for the song "Drowns the Whiskey," the seventh track on Rearview Town, per a press release sent on Friday (March 16). The mid-tempo heartbreak song features harmonies from Lambert throughout; it was written by Brandon Kinney, Jeff Middleton and Josh Thompson.

When he revealed his plans for Rearview Town in late January, Aldean told syndicated radio morning show Ty, Kelly & Chuck that his new disc would feature a song with a woman. At the time, he didn't say who it was, but he did say it wasn't his wife nor his 2018 tour opening act Lauren Alaina.

Rearview Town is due out on April 13. The album features 15 songs, written by, among others, David Lee Murphy, Cole Taylor and Michael Tyler. It is available for pre-order now, via various outlets.
