Jana Kramer hasn't lost a step since becoming a mom in January. She brought a high-energy set to the stage on Friday (June 10), the first day of the 2016 Taste of Country Festival.

Kramer hit the stage mid-afternoon at Hunter Mountain in upstate New York for opening day, with performances still to come well into the night on the main stage. She and her very tight, very professional band came out to the Ram Guts & Glory Stage at the beautiful natural amphitheater and rocked the thousands of fans who were already on hand to get the three-day country music party started, and Kramer didn't disappoint. She rocked the crowd, starting with the heavy riffing of "Pop That Bottle" and hardly let up for the next hour, hitting the fans with "Good Time Comin' On" and "Love," among other uptempo crowd-pleasers.

She had fun with the colorful crowd, too. "What the hell is that on your head?" she teased one fan from the stage, adding, "Is that a thing now, a turkey head? I guess I gotta get me a turkey head."

She brought the mood down for a cover of Brad Paisley's "Whiskey Lullaby" — the crowd helped — leading into her own "Whiskey," "Why Ya Wanna" and "I Got the Boy." But mostly Kramer is a feisty, sassy live performer, as evidenced by another cover, Meredith Brooks' "Bitch."

She also performed her next single, "Circles," which is set to hit country radio in July, and left the stage to the thundering rock chords of "Boomerang," leaving the crowd whipped up and ready for the Cadillac Three, Big & Rich and Kid Rock later in the day.
