This is a recipe I learned in my home economics class way back in high school. However, I've seen it resurface here the last year or so. It's a very easy, fun recipe that you can get the kids involved in. It's homemade mini-pizzas.

Ingredients:

    • 1 can of biscuits (flaky or buttermilk)
    • 1 jar of pizza or spaghetti sauce
    • 16 oz. grated mozzarella (or to your liking)
    • toppings of your choice-mushrooms, peppers, onions, olives, pineapple, sausage or hamburger (pre-cooked), pepperoni slices, cubed ham, Canadian bacon etc.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Flatten out your biscuit into small round pizza dough.

Add toppings of your choice. I did some with spaghetti/marinara sauce and pepperoni and some with an Alfredo base with Canadian bacon along with my grated mozzarella. You can go crazy and add whatever you want...these are your pizzas.

Pop them in the oven until biscuits are golden brown, around 10 minutes.
Then eat them up!!!  These are great for a family movie night, by the way.
