High School Teen David Denson Smacks 515 Foot Home Run at Marlins Park in Miami [VIDEO]

Every little league baseball player dreams of the time they go yard and jog the bases as the crowd cheers loud with their approval.  Well, this high school kid not only smacked a homer (although not during a game), but his home run traveled 515 feet.  Yeah, you got to see it to believe it.

High School baseball player, David Denson, who turns 18 this month (January), hit a 515 foot home run during the 2012 Power Showcase at Marlins Park in Miami.  Denson, a first baseman, and pitcher (the dude can throw 90mph fastballs as well), is 6 foot 4, and weighs 252 pounds, and has showcased more power than a lot of major league baseball players.

To put it in perspective, MLB star Bryce Harper only had a 502 foot home run at the same event in 2009.  Needless to say, we’ll, more than likely see this kid in the majors in years to come.  He has already committed to playing ball at the University of Hawaii.

Oh, and besides the 515 foot homer, Denson hit 3 other balls off the scoreboard, and won the home run derby with 19 homers. Granted, he was hitting off of a pitching machine, but I don’t think there is any doubt about this kid’s power.

Check out the hit below from multiple angles, plus, I’ve included Bryce Harper’s home run in 2009 at the event.
