Hank Williams Jr. is bringing all the rowdy friends he can gather up, to the 'North Forty' field on September 2nd, for the 'Texas Music Festival'. Joining Bocephus on stage are Merle Haggard, Pat Green, David Allan Coe, Shooter Jennings, Whiskey Myers, Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights, Cody Johnson, Turnpike Troubadours and others. Katherine Kolstad with Billy Bob's said that the event has got to go outside.

Kolstad said, "The Music Festival has gotten too big to keep it indoors so we've decided to move it to the North Forty field east of Billy Bob’s. It's the same place where events like the Red Dirt Roundup, Willie’s Picnic and the Red Bull X-Fighters have taken place and besides there will be, plenty of places for concert goers can escape the sun."

The last time I visited the Ft. Worth Stockyard district, I didn't feel like one day was enough time. If you plan this right, in my opinion, this will make for a great two or three day get away. Besides, there are some great hotels near by, I hope to see you there.
