Google Staff Carves Giant Pumpkins For Halloween Google Doodle [VIDEO]

Several Google employees recently swapped their laptops for carving knives and spent the day whittling six enormous pumpkins with the letters of the search engine’s name.
The result? The Halloween Google Doodle, of course.
In the timelapse video below, you’ll see the carvers cheered on by costumed co-workers and Pegman, Google’s Street View mascot.
Sophia Foster-Dimino, a Google doodler, wrote in a blog post,
“To celebrate Halloween this year, the doodle team wanted to capture that fascinating transformation that takes place when carving a pumpkin. Instead of picking up a few pumpkins from the grocery store, however, we decided to work on six giant pumpkins, specially delivered from nearby Half Moon Bay (some weighing well over 1,000 pounds).”
