Just a few minutes ago, we told you about who the villain would be in Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' - their next original superhero film. That's not enough for you? You want to know who else will be starring in the film? OK, you win. How about this? Zoe Saldana ('Avatar,' 'Star Trek Into Darkness') will star as Gamora in Marvel's next film.

The Hollywood Reporter
reveals that Saldana is in talks to star as Gamora in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' joining Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista who have already signed on as Star-Lord and Drax the Destroyer, respectively. Gamora is the green-skinned, yellow-eyed member of the 'Guardians' and an assassin originally trained by Thanos, the man they are out to stop. She's a highly-skilled gymnast and possess superhuman strength, agility and speed. She uses her sword of unknown origin which is capable of defeating even celestial beings like Thanos or Adam Warlock.

It will be interesting to see if they use natural body paint or post-production CGI techniques to turn Saldana into the alien assassin.

Saldana is no stranger to blockbuster space epics with both 'Star Trek Into Darkness' and 'Avatar' under her belt. With her joining 'Guardians of the Galaxy' she's now a butt-kicking heroine in no less than three of the biggest franchises in Hollywood. Pretty impressive. But can she do it all?

Her Marvel contract would certainly keep her around for 'The Avengers 2' which we learned yesterday is filming in early 2014. Will she have time to shoot both 'Guardians' and 'The Avengers 2' and still have room for 'Star Trek 3?' And we haven't even started talking about 'Avatar 2' yet...
