Granger Smith’s 4th Annual 100 Mile Boot Walk to Benefit the Boot Campaign is May 4-8th

Sunfire Entertainment/Granger Smith

They say you can’t really understand a person until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes. Well you best not try to understand Granger Smith because he’s doing a lot of walking. Granger Smith has walked 300 miles in his ‘boots’ and will add another 100 miles to those boots this coming May 4-8th during the 4th annual Boot Walk. The Boot Walk is part of the Boot Campaign, a national non-profit that helps our active military, when they return home. They help with jobs, housing, wellness, family support and urgent assistance.

Granger’s goal this year is $50,000. You don’t have to actually join the walk in order to help; you can form a fundraising team and encourage friends and family to make donations. The event starts May 4th in South Austin and will end 100 miles later on April 8th at Fort Hood Harley Davidson in Harker Heights, TX where Granger will conclude the event with a concert.

Artists lending their talents to this years concert include: Earl Dibbles Jr., William Clark Green, Josh Grider, Brian Keane, Gary Kyle, Cody Bryan, Aces Up and Kimberly Dunn. Tickets are $10 online, $15 at door, & free with military I.D.

To create your own fundraising team and learn how you can make the walk with Granger visit the Boot Walk website.
