Goodbye “Cha Cha DiGregorio”; Grease Actress Dies At 63 [VIDEO]

I guess today is just one of those days.  Another actress has passed on at an early age.  Annette Charles who played Cha Cha DiGregorio in GREASE passed away Wednesday night of cancer at the age of 63.

Annette Charles was best known for her role in GREASE but she also had acting roles in television shows such as High Chaparral, The Flying Nun, Mod Squad, Bonanza and more.  Her last television role was in 1987 when she made an appearance on Magnum P.I.

Charles found out about her cancer when she started having trouble breathing, went to the doctor and was told she had a tumor on one of her lungs.

After retiring from acting Charles became a teacher at California State University in Northridge.

Cha Cha was the girl you loved to hate in high school.  She was the bad girl always out to get with the popular guy just to prove she could.  Remember the school dance competition scene where Cha Cha runs onto the floor pushes Sandy out of the way and finishes and wins the competition with Danny.
