It's been said the the era between 1920's to the 1950's was know as the "Golden Age Of Fiction" because of all the great stories and books that were being written. Most all the books, stories and comics were released on paper that was thick and rough, it was called pulp stock, thus the phrase "pulp fiction." It also was, the era of great music too. Music like Jazz, Blues, Ragtime, Bluegrass and Swing prevailed. It is that very era in time, that inspired an awesome band known by those who appreciate the swing movement as the Jive Aces. I believe that after you listen and watch Jive Aces perform, you will call yourself a fan. Lets take a look

The Jive Aces are the winners of BBC TV's Opportunity Knocks. The band first formed in 1989. They are a six-piece UK based, high energy, jive and swing band. In Feb 2011 The Jive Aces toured the US while they were recording in LA and Hollywood. The first video explains how the new "Amazing Adventure" album came to being and the basis for the inspiration. It's really the first time the band and it's lead singer sat down to share some insights and highlights to the band.

The lead singer is Ian Clarkson, his voice quality sounds as if it's from the era of those "pulp fiction" days.

The second video is the Jive Aces official release of the song "Bring Me Sunshine" in a Louis Prima jive style released March 17th 2011.Mix in a few backup singers and a dancing crew and you've got yourself one good time, guaranteed to put a smile on even the most sorrowful faces.
