One of the more controversial aspects of lightning rod Denver Broncos quarterback QB Tim Tebow is the way he outwardly prays during games, and always credits Jesus for Broncos victories in post-game interviews.

Poll position asked 756 adults, who said they were aware of Tebow and his success, whether or not they thought God was rewarding the devout Christian by intervening in football games that Tebow plays in.

Forty-three percent answered that they believe divine intervention is at least partially responsible for Tebow’s success on the field, 42 percent said God has nothing to do with it, and 14 percent had no opinion.

We’ll see if Tebow could’ve used an assist from a higher power when the Broncos play the New England Patriots this weekend in the playoffs.
