George Strait is planning to ride off into the sunset with a tropical vacation!

The country mainstay is still enjoying the final leg of his Cowboy Rides Away Tour, crisscrossing the country one last time to play for his fans. But with his impending retirement, Strait says he's ready for some much needed rest and relaxation ... probably somewhere warm and tropical.

"I don't know where, but I'm going somewhere to celebrate," Strait reveals.

"I haven’t been to Hawaii in years, so I would love to see it again and try to find my old house over there and all that stuff," the legend continues, "and I want to go back to scope the Army barracks and see all the old spots where I used to hang out. I’m gonna do a lot of things.”

With over 25 stops on his final tour, the country icon is certainly earning that tropical retirement! Strait will wrap up his last days on the road at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on June 7 with an all-star supporting lineup, including Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Ronnie Dunn, Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Lee Ann Womack.
