George Strait will head back to Las Vegas in 2018. The country icon has announced two concerts at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena, scheduled for February of 2018.

Strait will perform in Las Vegas on Feb. 2 and Feb. 3. They will be his 17th and 18th concerts in Las Vegas; he played at T-Mobile Arena six times in 2016 and, following two shows in December, will have performed there 10 times in 2017.

“We said from the beginning that we would listen to the fans and follow what they want,” Strait says in a press release. “Fan support is just as strong now as it was when we started; and we are responding to that interest by adding shows in 2018.”

Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen will open Strait's February concerts. Tickets for the shows are scheduled to go on sale on Oct. 27 at 10AM Las Vegas time; visit GeorgeStrait.com for more details.

Strait officially retired from touring in 2014. Although he hasn't launched a full-scale tour since, he has performed in Las Vegas and at other shows here and there. In addition to his Las Vegas dates, Strait will also perform at Tulsa, Okla.'s BOK Center (on June 1 and 2) and Austin, Texas' Frank Erwin Center (on June 3) in 2018.
