Earlier today FOX offered up a few new tidbits about the 'Gotham' premiere this fall, as well as its initial fall 2014 schedule, but why stop there? In addition to a new behind-the-scenes look at its forthcoming Batman prequel drama, FOX has revealed the first looks at 'Office' vet Rainn Wilson's 'Backstrom,' M. Night Shyamalan's TV debut 'Wayward Pines,' 'Broadchurch' remake 'Gracepoint' and more!

While we've already seen the first 'Gotham' trailer and gone in depth with its characters and footage, the newest behind-the-scenes look at the Batman prequel drama places a strong emphasis on building its villainous characters from the ground up, while beginning the essential friendship between Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and the newly-orphaned Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz). We're still not sure how 'Gotham' will fare without Batman, but it's definitely the most promising preview we've seen thus far.

Elsewhere, the network also released similar sneak peeks of Shyamalan's 'Twin Peaks'-esque midseason drama 'Wayward Pines,' starring Matt Dillon, as well as our first glimpse of 'SNL' writer John Mulaney's 'Mulaney. the latter takes the traditional three-camera sitcom approach, but attempts to balance with Mulaney's own standup, seeming very 'Seinfeld' for the moment.

Lest we forget, there's also UK remake drama 'Gracepoint' (starring 'Breaking Bad''s Anna Gunn and original 'Broadchurch' star David Tennant), Lee Daniels' Terence Howard-starring hip-hop drama 'Empire' and Octavia Spencer's 'Red Band Society,' while Rainn WIlson's cantankerous 'Backstrom' has been held for midseason. Still, it's good to see the 'Office' star back in fine form, even as CBS originally passed on the series.

Well, what are you waiting for? Check out our best looks yet at FOX's upcoming original drama series, including 'Gotham,' 'Wayward Pines,' 'Mulaney,' 'Empire' and 'Gracepoint,' and tell us what you think in the comments!
