Florida Georgia Line are well known for their cross-genre collaborations, including everyone from Nelly to the Backstreet Boys, and their latest project is an appearance in pop star Hailee Steinfeld's new video with Alesso called "Let It Go."

The country duo join Watt on the track, which has Steinfeld singing of the aftermath of a relationship and wishing the best for her former lover.

"Let Me Go" is a captivating track that blends pop, country and EDM. In the song, Steinfeld apologizes to her ex, begging for him to let her go.

Forgettable Country Music Crossover Attempts

"I've been hoping somebody loves you in the ways I couldn't / Somebody's taking care of all the mess I made / Someone you don't have to change," she sings alongside slick beats.

FGL's Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley join in on the second verse as they sing, "I can't leave it in the past / But you're holdin' on to what you never had." In the video clip, the guys wander through the forest before relaxing in some wooden chairs overlooking the picturesque landscape.

The video for "Let Me Go" was directed by Emil Nava and also features appearances by Alesso and Watt. The three-minute clip served as a preview of their joint American Music Awards performance on Nov. 17.
