Five years away from the recording studio have clearly been good to Faith Hill. In her prime, Faith decided to take an extended break from music and she's as good as - if not better than - she ever was with her patriotic new single and video, 'American Heart'. This is the 2nd single from Hill's upcoming CD, and one of the best songs and videos of her career.

The video for 'American Heart' is heartwarming. Opening with a series of interviews with children describing what being an American means to them. From "We have a cool flag" to "We're different on the outside, but we're the same on the inside", we are again shown that kids say the darnedest things.

The rest of the video is Faith Hill on a well choreographed play date with a young man, 10-year-old T.J. Jones, who happens to be a terrific dancer.

It's hard to watch this video and listen to the song without cracking a smile and getting a warm, fuzzy feeling. Faith is back, and her fans will definitely appreciate her return. But followers of country music in general can admit that this may be of the best songs in Hill's amazing career.

This is only the beginning of the Faith Hill comeback. Her new full-length CD, 'Illusion' is set to be released in 2013, and if 'American Heart' is any indication of what is to come on the rest of the album, country music is in for a treat. Joining 'American Heart' among the confirmed song titles for the new CD are 'Come Home' (the first single), 'Illusion,' 'Overrated,' 'Flower' and '600 Years'.
