Additional Information

The annual 'Evening at the Expo' is set for February 14 at the expo center grounds. This event brings in singer/songwriters of some of country music's biggest hits. Along with a seated dinner and entertainment there will be a meet and greet with the artists. The event raises money for the expo center operations.

This year's artists include Rivers Rutherford, Tim Nichols and Jimmy Yeary. You may not know them by name but you will recognize their songs. They are the talent that put the lyrics to music for artists like Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Faith Hill, Trace Adkins and many more.

Rivers Rutherford has been in the Nashville scene since the '90s as an entertainer, studio musician and songwriter. He is known for Brad Paisley's 'When I Get Where I'm Going', Gary Allan's 'Smoke Rings in the Dark' and Tim McGraw's 'Real Good Man' among many others.

Tim Nichols recorded an album in the mid 90's but songwriting his what he does best. Writing phenomenal hits like 'Heads Carolina, Tails California' for JoDee Messina, "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing" by Trace Adkins and "Live Like You Were Dying" by Tim McGraw among dozens of others.

Jimmy Yeary moved to the music city in '94 and began his singing and songwriting career. A few of his hits include “Why Wait” from Rascal Flatts, "I Drive Your Truck" from Lee Brice and “In Another World” by Joe Diffie.
