Perhaps the best tweak of Disney XD’s DuckTales reboot allows us to explore each character in depth, more-so than just the new Scrooge, Huey, Dewey and Louie. As such, an extended new clip shows us Webby’s relationship to the McDuck nephews, and an intense one at that.

Now set for a Saturday, August 12 premiere, our new DuckTales releases its longest clip yet, featuring most every character beside Launchpad. In it, we see how Kate Micucci’s Webby Vanderquack competes with the McDuck triplets, to say nothing of Scrooge’s willingness to embrace his new family.

Already renewed for Season 2, the new Disney XD DuckTales features among its cast Jessica Jones star and Doctor Who favorite David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck, along with SNL alum Bobby Moynihan as Louie, Ben Schwartz as Dewey, Danny Pudi as Huey, Kate Micucci as Webby, Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley, Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack, and others including Lin-Manuel Miranda as GizmoDuck and Margo Martindale as Ma Beagle.

The first season will also consist of twenty-one half-hour episodes and two hourlong specials, with Matt Youngberg serving as executive producer beside story editor/co-producer Francisco Angones, and Gravity Falls art director Sean Jimenez.

You can watch the first DuckTales trailer and clips below, and stay tuned for the August premiere.
