Hollywood star Doris Day, 88 is releasing a new album of music that has actually been 40 years in the making. Day famous for her movies like "That Touch of Mink", "Pillow Talk" and "Please, Don't Eat The Daisies" and songs like "Que Sera, Sera" and "Sentimental Journey" back in the 1950's and '60's is making huge waves with this new album titled "My Heart".

It's been nearly 20 years since we've heard from Doris Day, after her son's death in 2004 she became almost a recluse, seeing only her closest of friends and family. This album was released earlier in the fall in the UK and debuted at #9 on the charts. Day is the oldest artist to make the top 10 on the UK charts with new music.

The CD is a collection of songs that were produced by her son, Terry Melcher before his death. Day says this was a very emotional album to make and she dedicates it to Terry and all animals. In fact, she is such an animal lover that part of the proceeds of the record sales will go to animal organizations.

There will be 13 previously unreleased on the album. U.S. release date is set for December 2nd. The album is available for pre-order on Amazon and also can be pre-ordered thru dorisday.com or thru cityhallrecords.com.
