I'm talking about your lawn maintenance.  I know I hate mowing the lawn and trying to keep the flowers alive, I usually forget to water them.  We are well into Spring and planting season and we are in one of the worst droughts we've ever had.  So how do you get that beautiful green lawn and keep it all summer long?  Read on..There, of course, is xeriscaping.  Using native plants and drought resistant plants that don't take much water or care.  Then there is Synthetic lawns.  These are plastic lawns.  They look real and unless you feel the need to tell someone they probably would just think you are the best gardener ever.

Fake lawns, plastic/synthetic are catching on in high drought areas.  They are relatively inexpensive and take little care.  You might want to hose the yard off every once in a while but other than that you just sit in your lawn chair, sip lemonade and watch all the neighbors mow every other day.  The synthetic grass comes in a variety of lengths and colors to blend with the environment.

They rolled out the lawn in sheets, so cleverly that it's impossible to see the seams or the darts at the corners. It looks like we just put in the world's most pristine sod.

Sounds like something I might look into.  Did I mention that I hate mowing.  I also hate doing dishes and dusting think there is something somebody can do about those?
