The San Francisco 49ers quarterback suffered a concussion in a November 11 game against the St. Louis Rams. He has been medically cleared to play, but won’t see the field on Sunday unless his former backup, Colin Kaepernick, goes down with an injury.
49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh said that he is going with Kaepernick again this week against the Rams. Kaepernick had two good games against Chicago and St. Louis, but does that mean Smith deserves a demotion?
