DIY: How to Make an iPhone Speaker From a Toilet Paper Roll

This is something everyone needs to know. How many times have you wanted a speaker for your iPhone/iPod and didn’t have one. Well now you can quickly make one using an empty toilet paper roll.

Actually my 14 year old showed me this little trick. He made one last weekend and I thought it was pretty cool. Now I realize that in the video you might not be able to tell much sound difference, but you really can tell a difference.

Here’s how you can make your own high-tech speaker using a toilet paper roll.

Supplies:

  • iPhone/iPod
  • empty toilet paper roll
  • scissors/x acto knife
  • 2-4 thumbtacks
