Justin Moore enjoyed the 2013 CMA Awards like the rest of us, but he wasn’t on stage presenting. He also wasn’t on stage performing. And fans, along with Moore, are asking why he was so noticeably absent.
I listen to a lot of new country music every week, and lately a lot of it is too rock sounding. Eric Church‘s new song “The Outsiders” is one song in particular that, in my opinion is too rock sounding for country radio. Don’t get me wrong I like the first 2 minutes and 49 seconds however, I love the last minute and 30 seconds when it really rocks out hard. Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Taylor Swift picked up the CMA for Musical Event of the Year award for their hit tune ‘Highway Don’t Care’. The song, which features Urban on guitar and Swift helping McGraw on vocals beat out the Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church collaboration, ‘The Only Way I Know’ and Blake Shelton with the Pistol Annies for ‘Boys ‘Round Here’ among others.
