You don't usually hear the name Dierks Bentley and Esquire magazine in the same sentence. Well, in this blog you will tie the two together for a great cause. Dierks even writes a song about his experiences in Detroit and with Esquire magazine.

Mr. Bentley has made into the pages of Esquire Magazine for the second year in a row.  Bentley was joined by other musicians of all different genres of music. He also participated in a songwriting challenge. This year the subject and location was the hardened streets of Detroit. They all were involved in a "Esquire Style" fashion shoot. At the end they were all challenged to record an original song using the phrase “Last Night in Detroit.” Dierks song was titled, Line No. 7 and touts the issues of a struggling city, auto industry and unemployment. The song is ready for download on iTunes with proceeds benefiting Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Detroit. To buy a download of the song just click here.
