The new fall shows are coming soon and ABC has one called "Nashville" which will center around the country music business. The show is currently being filmed in Nashville and has many speculating on whether or not the shows characters are based on real music artists. Series star Connie Britton says her character Rayna James, is not based on Reba McEntire as is being rumored.

Britton plays Rayna James, a 40ish mother who is being forced to work with Juliette Barnes, an up-and-coming singer played by Hayden Panettiere.

In fact Britton says “I ran into Reba McEntire on a plane, and she said, ‘Did you hear that they’re saying that you’re playing me in your show?’ And I said, ‘No, I had no idea.”

Panettiere says her character has been rumored to be based on Taylor Swift; she too says that is not the case. She says the only similarities between the two are the blonde hair and same age, other than that her character is nothing like Swift.

The series premiers October 10 on ABC.
