Capcom's mysterious upcoming online multiplayer game, Deep Down, has a new Tokyo Game Show-flavored trailer that shows off even more gameplay.

If you watch the trailer above, you might note that Deep Down's gameplay and overall aesthetic is slightly reminiscent of the Dark Souls, Dragon's Dogma and Monster Hunter series. You know what? That's something we can get behind.

The trailer shows us a few of the monsters we'll be battling in the past, after we've activated the memories held within different objects. A lot of these monsters look like they were pulled from descriptions of nightmare creatures in a dream journal and then given to an untalented artist to sketch, which means we'll have a lot of fun trying not to mess ourselves as we take them down.

The encounter with the dragon at the end of the trailer shows us how players can rally together to take down mighty beasts. The battle reminds us of fights in Monster Hunter, which makes sense, given that the series is in Capcom's stable.

Deep Down is looking pretty cool, but we'll have to wait to find out when it'll become available for the PlayStation 4.
