Young Man Goes Deaf, Doesn’t Abandon His Dream of Making Music [VIDEO]

In this moving short documentary, Alex Bullis, a young musician who suffered a mysterious illness that caused him to go suddenly deaf a year ago, is shown pursuing his lifelong dream of making music.
Bullis talks about the isolation he felt after losing his hearing, and how ultimately he decided not to let it stop him from pursuing his dream. Though this video doesn’t have the same kind of happy ending as the clip of the young woman who regained her hearing and heard her own voice for the first time, the positivity and hope here will make you feel just as good. Watch Alex’s story below.
