Dave Wheaton Takes the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Then Issues Challenge to Kevin Fowler

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is a phenomenon that has been sweeping the nation. Celebrities and regular folks alike are being called out, given 24 hours to either dump a bucket of ice water on their head, or donate $100 to the ALS Association.

My friend Tracy Pugh forwarded the challenge on to me, probably because my son volunteered to do it. We'll be making a donation to help ALS research, but we also dumped and ice chunk-filled cooler full of water on our heads.

I forwarded the challenge to a few people too: My old friends Amos VanHorn and Jason Jones (and his son Dorian). I also called on Kevin Fowler to get in on the fun. After all, the man has an ice chest full of beer pretty much everywhere he goes! I know Kevin has a lot going on, and does a lot of charity work already, but what the heck. It's worth a shot!
