Rodney Atkins, Clint Black, Sunny Sweeney and Chuck Wicks are just a few of the stars who have signed on for Darius Rucker‘s third annual Darius and Friends benefit concert, set for Monday (June 4) at Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon. A very special surprise guest will also take the stage that night, as one of the first events to kick off the 2012 CMA Music Festival.

“We’ve had so much fun the last two years with friends jamming on stage for a great cause,” says Rucker. ”I’m excited to continue that tradition with this year’s event.”

Doors to Darius and Friends will open at 6PM with music starting at 7:30PM. Fans can remember this extra special night by purchasing event posters and t-shirts. Proceeds raised from the event will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to aid in their continued mission to find cures and save children struggling against deadly diseases.

Tickets to Darius and Friends are on sale now and can be purchased through Ticketmaster, the Wildhorse Saloon or by calling 615-902-8200.

In addition to his own benefit for St. Jude, John Rich of Big and Rich is also hosting a charity concert next week as well, which Rucker will lend his time to during the CMA Music Festival. Others scheduled to appear at the event will include Kellie Pickler, Jeff Foxworthy and of course, Big and Rich. For more information on that particular event click here.
