Country music's two dancing women did more than enough during Monday's (March 18) 'Dancing With the Stars' season premiere to earn another week in the competition. Both Kellie Pickler and Wynonna Judd danced the Cha Cha Cha, with Pickler giving judge Bruno Tonioli reason to leave his seat and shake shake his hips.

Rehearsal footage shows the 'Tough' singer and partner Derek Hough having nothing but fun. "I'll be your Tinkerbell, and you can be my Peter Pan," the professional dancer jokes, after commenting that they both have the same haircut. There was no drama, only playful laughs and serious training. Hough was impressed by Pickler's flexibility, and she showed America why when they opened the show together.

"Yum yum pig bum, that was fun," judge Len Goodman said before Tonioli stood and acted out his excitement. All three judges agreed that Pickler needed a little more practice on footwork, but from the waist up, she was amongst the best of the night. Overall the couple received a 21 score and tied for second with three other couples.

Judd's performance was more restrained, with the singer wearing an elegant black gown as she rose from a church pew to begin her dance with last season's champion Tony DovolaniThe couple didn't take as many risks, but all three judges were excited by Judd's potential, giving her a middle-of-the-pack 18.

All couples will live to dance again next Monday, before next Tuesday's (March 26) elimination round. With the strength of their performance, the history of country fans actively supporting their favorites and comedian D.L. Hughley's low score of 12, Judd and Pickler should be safe.
